Find and Fix 7 Common Pitfalls in Biotech Startups

Your passion for biotech has motivated you to create a business. The business decisions that you, your team and partners make in the beginning may be exactly the right things to do at the time—but those early decisions may not be the best foundation for your long-term success.

We’ve asked Dr. Craig Shimasaki, Co-Founder of Moleculera Labs, to share his experience as a serial entrepreneur. He’s going to cover the seven most common mistakes biotech startups make and provide insight on how to fix them—or how to avoid them completely. His practical advice and astute applications are the results of over three decades working in the biotechnology industry.

He’ll detail the ways a young company grows in a defined direction and matures toward a preconceived model during its development. Along the way, company leaders make decisions about business direction, market relevance and product development based on their perceptions and previous decisions.

Dr. Shimasaki can help entrepreneurs recognize and repair their seven most common mistakes before time and capital run out.
